A quote is only a price

  • No sender is sent in the quote. The same price applies to any of your senders.
  • The sender is informed and validated in the withdrawal. A sender that is not eligible is refused there, with SENDER_NOT_ELIGIBLE or SENDER_LIMIT_EXCEEDED.
  • To avoid that, check the sender’s status and limits before requesting the quote.

Fixed source or fixed destination

  • You send (USD): the MSB fixes the USD amount. The quote calculates how much BRL the beneficiary receives.
  • Recipient gets (BRL): the MSB fixes the BRL amount. The quote calculates how much USD is needed.
  • Only one of the two can be informed. It must be greater than zero.

What the quote shows

One price, the same for PREFUNDED and CREDIT. The BRL amount the beneficiary receives does not depend on the funding mode.

Validity and use

  • Quotes have a short validity, shown as an expiration time. An expired quote cannot be used.
  • A quote can be used by one withdrawal only. Its status goes from AVAILABLE to USED, or to EXPIRED if it is not used in time.
  • The funding mode is chosen in the withdrawal. Credit limit and USD balance are checked then. You can check them in advance in Credit Line and Wallets.
  • Quote validity: [A DEFINIR em contrato].

Quote usage

  • usage tells what the quote is for. REMITTANCE (default): used by one withdrawal. INVENTORY: used once to create an Inventory Lot in POST /v1/inventories. See USDC Inventory.
  • Quotes without usage are REMITTANCE.
  • Using a quote in the wrong operation returns QUOTE_USAGE_MISMATCH (422): an INVENTORY quote in a withdrawal, or a REMITTANCE quote in POST /v1/inventories.
  • INVENTORY quotes also return inventoryExpiresAt, the validity the lot will have. It is different from expiresAt, the validity of the quote itself.
What you do
  • Check the sender’s status and the sender and beneficiary limits before the quote.
  • Request the quote with a fixed USD or BRL amount. Do not send a sender.
  • Create the withdrawal before the expiration time. If it expires, request a new quote.
