# Wallets

> Wallets show the money linked to the MSB’s remittances. Balances come from auditable entries and are never edited directly.

> [card] USD Wallet

> The MSB’s prefunded USD balance in the US, used by `PREFUNDED` remittances. Credited when the MSB’s USD transfer is confirmed.

> [card] BRL Wallet

> Real balance held in Brazil. The BRL from FX passes through it before the Pix. Returned and held amounts stay in it. Credited only when funds arrive in Brazil.

| Balance | Meaning |
| - | - |
| Ledger | Total recorded in the wallet. |
| Available | Can be used now. In the USD Wallet, funds new `PREFUNDED` remittances. |
| Reserved | Held for remittances already created. |
| Pending | Entries awaiting confirmation. |

* The BRL Wallet is not increased by a quote, by creating a withdrawal or by approved credit.
* Every entry in the statement is linked to the remittance that originated it.
* Amounts in different currencies are never added together.
* The credit line is shown as a limit (contracted, used, reserved, available), not as a money balance.
